Sadly, pretty much every staunch pro lifer fundamentalist that I know would totally say that, and think they were completely correct in doing so.

Yeah in previous years there was talk about “Anyone but Bush!” or “Anyone but Obama!”, but this is the first time I’ve ever actually thought “Good fucking god, literally anyone but Trump or Cruz. Pick a goddamn name from the phonebook, I don’t care, anyone but them, they couldn’t possibly be worse.”

I want to punch Ted Cruz in the face much, much more than Donald Trump. They both think that they are completely right in that insufferable asshole way, but Ted Cruz thinks he’s completely RIGHTEOUS as well.

I feel like he didn’t pay so much attention to the major themes of the story though?

What I really find beautiful about statements like that is the unbridled arrogance of them. You don’t get to decide who goes to hell. God does. Show some goddamn humility to the Big Guy you choose to believe in.
