Amazing news for me because I’m traveling for vacation and for some sad reason “I’ll be missing Drag Race” was a major concern...on a vacation.

I feel the same way every time they tell Cracker “Oh you’re so good, your runways are incredible, SAFE.”

I think you’ve been watching the same show I’ve been watching. Kameron’s lip sync performance was remarkable, and should go into a Hall of Fame somewhere. Eureka’s was... good. It wasn’t close to Kameron’s magic trick.

However, she did that death drop, then drew out the moment dramatically. On its own, it was nothing

First of all I’m an Eeeyore and would defend a fellow Eeyore to the death but Kameron’s not an Eeyore. As I say above she’s just incredibly stoic and clear eyed about how she views things including her own performances and therefore far more accurate in these conceptions than the other queens. It doesn’t make for

Agreed with most people’s sentiments, but can I get in a comment about why the judges seem to just not get/like Cracker? Was she fantastic in the acting challenge? No. Did she take direction well? No. But she was still perfectly fine, and I giggled a few times. If anything, I would have swapped the critiques—I thought

But no big wig! She was specifically asked to break one out, and she didn’t!

True, the lows are lower as well, but the highs are higher. I’d rather have more variance I guess in that quality than just an overall mediocre group acting challenge.

Not only that but she *added* her own (funnier) lines! It seems quite obvious to me that her runway looks are holding her back from wins.

Absolutely.

So, for me Eureka was never going home. All the investment Ru’s made, all this setup for her as a frontrunner, and her bad critiques were still compliments (“you did poorly here but you’re SO GOOD”). Personally I still don’t see her as a winner, but Ru clearly does, and so do the editors.

Also, have the queens write more. They’re more clever and fun than the prewritten sketches almost always are

What’s the matter, snowflake? Can’t take responsibility for your actions?

I’ve misquoted it before, but Katya has this line - “Remember when drag queens were all mean and poor? Now they’re all rich and nice.” RPDR is precisely the mechanism to this sea change.

“I did some detective work and found out the identity of the bartender who made the “South Side is ruining Pride” comment”

A little late to the game, vacation, y’know - but here, have some Random ‘pinions:

‘Review with a Jew’ has become almost as indispensible as ‘Untucked’, this season. Cracker give enough insight and background info to put a lot of things in context.

Oh shit! That guy still has a job? I have mixed feelings on the Vixen as well (she’s bringing up really important issues, but lashing out at everyone and not having the sense to keep it from spilling out in front of the judges is something she’s going to have to work on) but that is inexcusable and Chicago needs to do

Get off my lawn!!

The fact that Cracker’s Cher was “too much Cher” and they bent over backwards to say nice things about Aquaria’s Barely-There Cher suggests to me that the producers have decided which twin will be going the distance already, and it won’t be the consistently good Cracker.

I was HOWLING at Aquaria in Untucked! “Monet you’re so brave! ...is she in the room?”
