I love to see the queens bring their particular, unexpected skills into their drag, but Brooke’s ballet just wasn’t working for the lipsync. It’s like for drag ballet to work it has to be in the right ironic setting (like the troupe Brooke used to perform with), but in the context of Drag Race, it just looked contrived

“Meh” should’ve meant they both sashayed. But for some unknown reason (Ru rear-ended Silky in a car accident, blackmail, dementia, etc.), Ru has kept her around.

If life and Drag Race were fair, Silky would have been eliminated for the white shoes she wore with her challenge look alone.

*cough* I thought Nina West’s witch look was hilarious, however, accused witches in America were hanged, not burned. This has been pedantic witch corner.

Loooved the challenges this week. The kooky photo shoot, followed by a build a lewk challenge just feels right.

Yeah, I think All Stars would be greatly improved if queens had to have at least 3 or 4 years on the Drag Race circuit before going on All Stars. It’s not even a question of experience, so many of the queens already have strong careers and years of experience before getting on Drag Race. It that the regular seasons

I mean, can we get a couple sewing challenges up in this bitch?

I’ve come to realize that I have to adjust my expectations for what the winner of All Stars should be. In the same way that the true “winners” of the regular seasons aren’t necessarily the ones who get the crown, but the ones who make the most of the exposure the show gives them, the All Stars competition doesn’t

Most significant takeaway from this episode: Valentina feels Monique’s pants were VERY DISRESPECTFUL TO AALIYAH.

Definitely.

I’ve honestly wanted to see Gia do a kabuki-inspired performance since season six.

It definitely felt to me like Gia was performing the bitch because that’s what she thinks is expected of her. I hope she lets that go as the season goes on. Not that it’s bad to be the bitch, just that a lot of Gia’s season six bitchiness was coming from a closed-mindedness and possible insecurity that she seems to

I suppose it’s partly from being a long-time viewer, but I just can’t conceive of any of these queens being crowned over Latrice. It’s not a talent thing, it’s just...it’s Latrice Motherfucking Royale.

Oh, God, ankles!

The unfortunate thing for Farrah, is that as soon as I heard “burlesque” I thought of everything Violet Chachki does and Roxxy Andrews’s All Stars talent show performance. A performer needs a lot of confidence to pull off burlesque and Farrah just doesn’t seem to be there yet.

I’d be happy to see Miss Congeniality decided by the other queens from here on out. It makes way more sense than leaving it up to the fans.

That’s very true, maybe it would have made more sense with the other song. It just seems like if you know there’s a 50% percent chance you’ll be lipsyncing to Nasty you’d want something that could go either way. I don’t know, Asia has had some really great looks, but it seems like in this case she had an idea and she

It’s almost like this season’s queens took the wrong message from last season. Even if Asia’s butterflies had lived, it would have been a weird choice for Nasty. The reveal has to serve the performance, not the other way around.

I loved that “Flock of Seagulls” hair, I just wish it hadn’t disappeared halfway through the walkthrough!

They were really pushing the “no family resemblance” angle with Monét & Tyler, but I think it was pretty much bullshit. Their looks were relatively simple, but their reflecting of each other was pretty clear.
