Ironically, I think Farrah has the look and a sort of sweetness that would work really well as a Dolly-like character, she just doesn't have the experience to make it work yet.
Well, sure, but Jujubee stole it from the Three Little Pigs, so it's really more of a literary reference.
I think a lot of it comes down to the difference between developing a character and applying it to someone else's script vs. developing a character and coming up with your own material. Trinity's performance of the character wasn't bad, she just wasn't able to give herself a structure to hang it on, so the whole thing…
I agree with what the judges were saying this episode. She's pretty and her looks are pretty, but she hasn't figured out what to do with that yet. It's not that she's untalented exactly, she's just unformed.
She's like if a Bratz doll and one of those Little Miss No Name dolls from the 1960s had a baby with a highlighter addiction…
Yeeeeees. Sacrilege!
I was actually really happy for Sasha when her set went well. The "Michelle Visage is so Jersey…" repetition was a good strategy.
My VH1 stream cut out twice during this episode. First for almost the entirety of Peppermint's set and then at the very second Ru was about to announce who would sashay away. I figured little Farrah was done for so that was nbd, but I am so disappointed I missed Peppermint's moment.
I felt like Nina's character had a lot of potential that it just didn't reach.
That was a good lip sync! April Carrion and Vivacious are good examples of queens who didn't necessarily excel at acting challenges, but that I would have loved to see stick around longer. That was just an exceptionally strong season.
And for the record, looks absolutely stunning.
There's nothing like a network tv rave.
But…I don't think kids today know what real music is either.
The more I see of Sasha the more I like her and the more I think she's not going to hit top three.
She is a bit more of a Voldemort.
I actually graduated from high school the same year they did on the show.
See, now I'm disappointed RUnestones collector plates don't exist. I'm a little bit sadder than I was a few minutes ago.
But it was Tiffani Amber Thiessen who replaced Shannon Doherty late in the show's run. Shannon was the good bitch, Tiffani was the boring bitch. ;-)
Oh yeah, I agree with that. I think I would have preferred to see Farrah in the bottom, and kept both Nina and Aja for another week.
