I stopped listening to NPR because I reached Peak Outrage about a week ago. Nice to catch up on the post-hardcore and powerviolence I’ve been missing for the last sixteen months.

That’s a nice sentiment but if they don’t represent you they don’t have any incentive to listen to you. It’s the nature of state government... although I guess you could threaten a boycott of Texas businesses.

I can pretty much guarantee that most of the crappy donut shops that just say DONUT in red channel letters where you can feed the office for $5 are far better than craft donut shops. They don’t make enough to turn them over quickly enough so you’re almost guaranteed to get old donuts.

I learned recently that “offense is taken, not given” — and basically the only way you can be offended is if you’re a snowflake.
