Oh, no. This is a bad look. Pretend you saw this comment posted somewhere — how would you feel about it?

Dude. You’ve seen the demos, right? It was also middle class whites. And Latinos, and black voters.

Almost an entire half of the country though Trump was their best bet. If you want to sit back and wait for this to play out as you described, fine. But this comment here is the kind of thing that gets screen-capped and

That’s not an elected position.

Also, military officers aren’t elected.

So when our Republican controlled congress was constantly obstructing things, you never thought “Jeez maybe some term limits would help move things along.”?

“Yes Prime Minister” is possibly the most British name for a TV show ever.

Half! Or, just under half of the country. If you know two people, one of them voted for Trump. If you don’t know anyone who voted for Trump then you’re in an enclave. If a handful of people had voted differently, the other half of the country would be feeling exactly as you feel right now. The only difference is you wouldn’t have seen it because they wouldn’t be talking about it here. Go drive one county over, though...

I think our lofty proclamations about what’s best for them here may be the kind of thing that got him elected.

Term limits, though! I’d love to see that go through.

There’s two big differences:

1. Instead of a maple syrup stipend we get Velveeta.
2. You’re still buying it from an insurance company; Obamacare is the coverage rules, tax breaks and online marketplace.

Hey man, high score!

Dear Grammar Guy,

I’m writing to see if their is a difference between the broad concept of a right, and a Right as enshrined in the Bill of Rights and protected by the Constitution.

I’m adrift in a sea of pedantry! Halp!
