True ‘dat. My understanding is that they have missiles that have traveled that distance, but none with warheads on them, which is a different animal. The carnage in South Korea or Northern Japan could be terrible, though.

See my comment above, for the only piece of reassuring news: Un has only been able to fire empty missiles that far. Ones with nuclear payloads, not so much.
