nah. intuition doesn’t negate critical thinking.
20 somethings think they live in dog years.
who... took the proposal photos if they were alone in the illegal woods?
yah it’s less about the writer, more about the writing/voice of it. which—sure, is a bad argument but the content is weird.
there’s a difference between angst and awareness. i’m not saying everything here is #wise, but the subtext of this article is: Wait forever for the guy who ignores you! It’ll def work out / if it doesn’t, it’s your fault!
yah as soon as i got to: “I knew what was best, and I also knew as early as the seventh grade that I’d either marry this guy or never find one as good.” it was the end of times @ Jez and/or a troll of loyal readers. idk. RIP Kara + Emma is my main thought.
This is poignant and touching and gracious writing. I cried at the insight at the end of the piece, and the call not to rush. Thank you—this will stay with me. I’m sorry for the loss that made you know these truths.
so. what we do now?
honest question: is the ‘girl covets other girl’s life so hard, she destroys self/other girl in order to steal it’ premise good to keep rebooting or harmful? i’m a screenwriter, i care about the impact of stories, i need some group think on this b/c i feel crazy.
Yah, Miller is—did you see his Colbert interview? This interview IS bonkers... but he also plays to that effect.

do feel.
THANK YOU
