I've thought about doing this for my band's music many times, though simply saying "they will make $4 overnight" is actually not exactly how the math works out, though it is an average. The biggest problem is that Spotify pays much differently for Free vs Paid users. A "Free" play only pays .001 (1/10 of a penny)
