I'd like to know how they define "active". Because logging in (which you do whenever you login to google, gmail, etc) better not count as "active"

Given that this is Comcast...how much more will I have to pay for the ability to do this? Because I'm pretty sure they have had a service to watch TV on your tablet/phone/computer in your own home, but you have to pay extra for that

the only good I see coming out of this is if Best Buy decides to compete with them and up the ante like they did with the smartphone trade-in, and put a minimum on it
