This is a good point. Several others have also pointed out that flaw in my thought process. I apologize for not thinking more clearly.

This alone is heartbreaking, and I'm already tearing up. I really don't want to read the rest, otherwise I'll be sobbing at work.

"They were men and women who were discriminated against"

Is there some reason the authorities haven't stepped in and removed the Honey BooBoo kids from their mother's home? Wouldn't what happened to the oldest girl, and the fact that June(?) is now dating the man who molested her daughter warrant giving the father custody?

It happens because child molesters often-times have Narcissist Personality Disorder (NPD) and they are master manipulators. It's not only a manipulation of the children involved, but the parents and/or authority figures in the child's life.

The frequency with which women throw out their principles and those that love them over a man that they find attractive is immensely depressing.

When I was in high school, my boyfriend's best friend was from a family where something similar happened. My BF's friend and his sister were adopted, the parents had two much younger daughters by birth. The dad molested the adopted daughter for a very long time and was finally convicted. He still had visitation rights

I just posted about a similar situation that happened to my bff (she was the child in the situation, not the mom, although she is a mom now.) Abusers are master manipulators. Psychopathic manipulators who use brain washing techniques to control parents and children. June probably believes he did nothing wrong, and

Meh. I mean, it's not like I have anything to hide or feel ashamed of, I haven't lived there in almost 3 years, the house was sold to someone else as an investment property back in April so it's no longer in the family, and I've been pretty open about these stories.

I had that same doll. The worst part of this story is that she alternates phrases — "There's no place like home" switches off with "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!"

That's horrifying and I'm sorry about your friend.

I have the BEST possessed doll story. I even wrote about it my senior year in high school.

I've a similar story to your dad. Going to try and not out myself/town but it may be squinky.

I have had a few of these dreams too. I love them so much. Last year my Dad died absolutely unexpectedly. Like playing racquetball at 8, dead by 9. By the time I got to the hospital they had just finished telling my mom my dad had died. Horrible. No time to say I love you or anything. It eats at me every day. I don't

I've had lots of dreams about family and friends who have passed away and I always feel as if I've truly interacted with them. One of the people who appear over and over again is a family friend who died in an accident a few years ago. He was a father, husband, grandfather and just one of the best people I've ever met

If I knew how to put a gif in my comments, there would be a clip of Bart Simpson shivering. Gah....

After my grandmother passed away, my mother would have dreams about her where she would tell her "I need something green." My mom would ask what specifically she needed and she would just keep repeating that she needed something green. After about 6 months of this my mother bought a green candle and lit it in my

I'm always searching for a scary story for these and I finally remembered one! It's not paranormal, but still was scary for me. As a kid, I took my Dorothy barbie into the bath- and she was the talking kind so it ruined her. I was afraid to tell my mom I wrecked my barbie she bought so I threw her outside my window.

My fiance and I met in the Washington DC area and after being together for about a year, we moved from the city to the nearby suburb of Rockville, MD.

So it's the early 70s/mid 70s. My dad's driving around late at night in either Wisconsin or Michigan (don't recall which, he was traveling across the country). He's on the highway and he suddenly sees a light behind him, like one of those undercover cop cars. He pulls over, and so does the cop car. He waits for the
