My mom is still driving my grandfathers last car, a ~2006 Buick Lesabre. Almost 200K miles on the clock, AC died, but, rest of the car works great. They are comfortable and well made.

That would work great I think :)
Rand Paul’s mind is ruled by a triumvirate of stupidity, evil, and hypocrisy.
This depends on where the heist is and who is doing the heist...
Wouldn’t a Kei truck or Kei van be more or less perfect for this? Or, RHD + complex to register + difficult to find parts might need bigger budget?
the 330s and 350s and 400hs are all over the place here, 300s still exist, but, most of them have rusted away here. Had a coworker friend who still had his up until last year, but 20 years of daily driving more or less killed the car.
Ahhh...
I think that Pontiac was “Star Chief” and not “Starfire”
I just recently sold my old 2008 Forester XS in world rally blue (boring cheap to insure naturally aspirated) to a younger cousin who just turned 18.
I test drove a Tour X a couple of months ago. It was a great car. But, the used GS-350 that I found for around 25K was just too good. More power, better interior, and more comfortable. Anyhow, the tourX was better than I had expected.
$20 T amp and $50 pair of cheap speakers will sound better due to lower frequency response and higher performing drivers. In addition, you can seperate the speakers farther apart and will get better stereo separation.
Looks like it’s pretty good if we are to believe tripadvisor :)
I tend to hang on to my cars for a long time and get attached to them. I just sold my 2008 to a younger cousin. I wouldn’t have even sold it in the first place if he wasn’t looking for cars since the 08 was solid and in decent shape. He polished the headlights, cleaned, waxed, and made the car look great. He is going…
I bought a used GS350 because I liked driving in it and being in it. The car performs well and is big enough and comfortable enough that elderly or disabled relatives can get in and out of it OK while still being a car.
American made cars have American made parts which are made from American mined ore. These cars are assembled in American factories by American workers. At this point, people start asking “What percentage of parts have to be sourced in the US to count the car as American.” Also, some people may only consider Union made…
Also ... lots of people buy cars that they can’t really afford.
I thought jalop was pushing DriveTribe, or was that the old way, under the old management?
Remember when the Rav4 V6 was the fastest Toyota?
There is a HUGE gulf between “the best possible within the realm of physics” and “better than a human driver.”
That just looks like a regular dirt road to me.
