Some of the calls involved individuals who were upset about matters unrelated to their work at Amazon, while others involved individuals not employed or contracted to work at the facilities. And while the Beast report noted it did not have any evidence that Amazon staff had more workplace mental health crises

The Root (and its Kinja-ing readership) fucking loved him up until the moment it was too obvious to ignore this was probably a hoax. And this event was perpetrated by one person, sure, but a large group of people ate it up, and fed into it, and used it to reinforce whatever they believed.

That’s reddit for you. Every subreddit is so far up their own ass that you can witness some very interesting collective psychosis once in a while.

It seems they view the “left” as faceless assholes

“The Little Millennial Who Couldn’t Even”

It works both ways. You up and left your previous job likely putting strain on your previous employer and fellow co-workers. They had to bare that burden just because you decided to change jobs for more money. As a manager i’ve had top people leave to get a pay bump i couldn’t give them. They were happy but wanted

Not only is it legal, but it’s basically required. Share/interest holders may have a cause of action if management/board/large share/interest holders are not maximizing revenue and servicing debt.

Will the last person left at Deadspin please turn off the lights and give the AutoPoster a whack to make sure it burps up .gifs and DC-area sports stories of interest to absolutely no one.

Because bail is not a fine. It is a deposit that is supposed to make sure you show up for the court date.

I felt compelled to reply to you and say you make a valid, sane point. Good luck.

Strange article. There are many situations in which a pseudorandom number generator could cause a problem, but this isn’t one of them. Because no one controls their position in the spreadsheet and the seed value on the computer, it just doesn’t matter. At all.

Why should this one be blocked? This article does a terrible job of convincing it should. Canada’s geography and population distribution is also incredibly different from ours in this context.

Probably the worst headline....

I’m guessing its not normally a problem. I’ve walked into closed stores and restaurants MANY times in my life. Never was the door locked. Someone said “sorry we’re closed” and I said “ope, sorry” and walked out because I’m not looking to be a victim all my life.

Not a good analogy. Uber is a tech company developing new tech. Questions should be asked but this article saying Uber has no business here is stupid.

I seriously doubt this is about the toxic part of Rick and Morty’s fanbase. This is all about CN not wanting to spend the money that Harmon and Roiland believe they are owed to create another season.

People that still choose to eat meat don’t care about consequences. Flavor is the ONLY thing that matters.

My ex-mother-in-law is uneducated, bible thumping hypocrite thats been married three times. She married the last guy specifically because he was a retired cop with a generous pension. He’d been living on his pension for 25 plus years when they married. I didnt know until he died but in California police pensions are

salt?

Oh.... Well in that case: The author done FUCKED it up!
