Thank you, and please accept my sympathies in return. I hope you had time to resolve the most important things :( .

Thank you for kind words. Beyond being the first, she was also likely the best person that I knew.

Thank you, but in lieu of digital flowers, could you send a digital donation to Planned Parenthood? I think she would have preferred it that way.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand the decisions people make about the ends of their lives.

Ah, it’s not really an availability issue, per se, so much as it is a personality issue... Even in a safe environment, it’s difficult for me to open up in person, and even more difficult for me to be honest. It would likely take several months before we could even begin to make progress.

Thank you for your kind words. Though I don’t really do friendship, just having been able to speak in this thread will be enough for me to work through this.

Thank you for your kind words and suggestions. Ironically, that’s something I’m already somewhat in the habit of doing... Whenever I ran across an amusing quote or an interesting story, I’d imagine what she had to say about it before I showed it to her later. I don’t know if that’s going to be a blessing or a curse,

Thank you for your kind words.

Thank you for your kind words.

I can’t say I’ve ever heard of it being dangerous to starve the families of a bunch of people who have been heavily trained to fight and have ready access to guns, nor to leave them poor and treat them like dirt.

Thing is, they used to be called “entitlements” because, well, we paid for them. We were “entitled” to these programs in the same way we were “entitled” to a loaf of bread we paid for - it wasn’t charity. To take an entitlement away would be theft.

I’m not concerned about North Korea’s capabilities as regards the United States, but I do worry that this increases the risk of North Korea deciding to launch a nuclear weapon at Japan; these new missiles are considerably more accurate than their earlier models, and lack many of the shortcomings of their predecessors.

Wasn’t Mattis one of the ones who said we moved an aircraft carrier when we, ah, didn’t? I’d say that ought impact his credibility as much as McMaster’s latest inaccurate denials.

Is this part of the administrations Pro-Russian agenda, anti-LGBT agenda, or anti-immigration agenda?

Ah, when it comes to TV news, I mostly keep MSNBC on in the background... They’ve been insinuating that Trump committed treason since, well, after the first week or so.

And that was before it was revealed that Trump gave Russia classified information, and today’s memo.
