You sound like me when I haven’t tried VR for a while. And then as soon as I try it again all my skepticism is gone. VR will be a thing or at least a stepping stone to AR. Great AR will change everything.

I only played the remake and there weren’t that much sailing, you get the faster sail quite early and you can teleport between sections of the map. But sure if you’re going for a 100% run you will probably spend quite a lot of time sailing.

Frostbite is one of the worlds most optimized engines so I’m not surprised more teams are switching to it. Blaming frostbite for “not hitting 1080p” is a weird thing to do since that has to do with the content and visual fidelity.

I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only one who enjoyed Battlefront! Reading the comments here you would think it was a really bad game when in reality it just wasn’t what people were expecting. It’s a star wars game made for fans of the star wars franchise, not fans of battlefield or the old battlefront.

There are 15 maps in Battlefront (base game) right now so wouldn’t really be much more content (but perhaps that was your point :D)

Since this expansion takes place on Sullust (Nien Nunbs planet) the choice sort of makes sense. But yeah, I really hope they are saving chewbacca for an upcoming expansion.

Since this is the internet let me first start with the general disclamer ;) I totally agree with you that games are the most powerful medium of expression right now (although VR looks promising) and that there is a lot of untapped potential. Games can and should be about more than fun.
