I could be wrong but I think ME:Andromeda (BioWare Montreal) and Anthem (BioWare Edmonton) were developed by different teams? So in what way do you mean they took resources away?

As a game developer I always get “So when are you going to get a real job?” when I talk to someone that I haven’t seen in a while.

To be fair that’s exactly what steam did to become the dominant store front?

We should try to make games a comparable experience imho.

That said, no triple-A video game companies have unionized yet.”

They delayed it to 2019 already, how much cash should you throw on a game? Bioware is a great studio and they should be able to ship a solid game with a 5 year dev cycle.

I think WW2 sold 20M copies so that would be a bit more than $20M but still, giving the CEO 10% is too much.

Michonne is also in the telltale games

Isn’t that report for 2017? And only 3 months?

I agree with most of your post but the people I mentioned (and who are often quoted about “death of the consoles”) have been talking about economic growth for investors.

Wait until you hear about capitalism

Not a fan of Mass Effect and Dragon Age?

I think that is partly a misunderstanding of what people like Matt Bilbey, Ben Cousins, etc. are saying when they talk about “death of the console”. It’s about the potential for economic growth in that sector.

It’s Rymdkapsel not Rymdkaspel

Wasn’t the patent by Blizzard?

Isn’t this exactly how battlefront 2 currently works?

I agree that the season pass was way too expensive, should have been like 20$. But the game wasn’t as empty as people are saying. 13 maps and 10 gamemodes after the free dlc.

BF1 had more content than most people think, the only thing that was really missing after the free dlc was a SP experience in my opinion.
