Objective journalism was never a thing. Intellectually honest journalism on the other hand, is both possible and hard to do all of the time without making people think you are a raging asshole.

The NFL wants these photos not because it cares about getting Hardy’s punishment right, but because it wants to get the optics of the punishment right.

I think you're forgetting the little world that these schools have crafted for themselves to live in. To many people who exist within these spheres, the pomp, pageantry and romance of the whole thing still exists.

Gotta disagree. I think it is patently obvious that Lebron James cannot outsmart Greg Popovich, and I think James knows that well enough to know that if he played for him, he should go with what Popovich installs and wants to do as compared to what he thinks.

I mean, again, companies can have a goal to make something people want or need, but it is ultimately in service to their goals to make enough money to keep the doors open so they can keep making something people want or need.

I have, but this is both bad (low quality) and bad (in poor taste). I mean, these types of things do occasionally happen on cable news, but it's not that frequent.

There's no way that's live.

What's even more flabbergasting than the fact that this exists is that someone looked at this and thought it would be a good idea to air it.

Ugh. The guy saying this is a guy who essentially works on a cite designed around platitudes and cliches.

Agreed. And the thing is, ultimately if your current girlfriend winds up not seeing your ex the same way you do, it's probably a pretty good sign that you are going to have some issues down the road anyways.

Discuss your ex like they are a human being worthy of respect.

It's probably safe to assume that Rodriguez would have held the year of hedonism anyways, because that's kind of what she does normally.

Because if he really cared about having "character guys" he would quit.
