The people most angry over Kaepernick’s refusal to stand are middle-aged white men, who believe the world will end if Hillary wins, and that Donald Trump is the only rational choice. This all came from browsing my Facebook news feed for 5 minutes.

I’ve seen this picture many times, but just noticed that Magary has a sweater tied around his waist. Typical.

May be quibbling here, but I think he’s trying to distance himself from charges of political bias. I get why he might want to stretch a comparison just a bit to make it work, shrug.

I’m glad he touched on the “I’m using my voice to speak for others who won’t be heard,” because a vast majority of the criticism I’ve seen on FB is in the “WAAH WAHH, I’M MAKING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS PLAYING A GAME AND I FEEL OPPRESSED! SHUT UP AND PLAY OR GET OUT OF THE COUNTRY, TRAITOR!” category.

I find it absurd that people are saying Colin Kaepernick can’t talk about oppression because he’s rich and are also voting for Donald Trump to deal with oppression because he is rich.
