Kyle Prescott, from Michigan, knows all this, as he’s a mechanic at a soon-to-be owner of a semi-truck repair shop.

David Tracy: “Buy an old Jeep”

I’ll second this. Imagine my disappointment when Mobile Strike did not in fact let me order military hits through my phone.

Wait, you have an E63 wagon and a C63?

I went Westgate to exit 75, then continued to Uniontown. If I had done even a little homework, I could have had fun on twisties all the way there.

Traffic lights and stop and go traffic? In rural western PA? Anyhow, a quick google maps search tells me that I’ll add 6 minutes to my trip by avoiding toll roads. So I guess I overestimated the convenience of paying to use the roads.

I saw 3 state cops in the 75 miles I was on the turnpike, and the only reason i didn’t get hit doing 20+ over is because the people up ahead of me were kind enough to hit the brakes and warn me. They were very well hidden.

Blame him for what? Try reading the comment next time instead of seeing “Trump” and blindly smashing your face into the keyboard.

I hate toll roads as well. I took the PA Turnpike from the West gate to MM 75 a few days ago, and it was $13.20. I’m not sure what it costs per mile in Texas, but $0.176 per mile absolutely floored me. I’ll spend another 20-30 minutes and skip the tolls next time.

NP for a couple reasons. I can live without AC in northern Ohio, but would still use it as a bargaining chip.

I’ve been duped before, but that sounds genuine. This should be pinned at the top of the comments.

Which will end up killing them when they sit unpurchased, because the dealer keeps paying exorbitant tax bills on their existing inventory. It will eventually eat up all his margin when you have that much idle inventory, from how I understand it.

I hit 155mph in an E38 BMW when I was 19 years old on I-15 in the California desert. Then i promptly realized that if anything at all went wrong, they would find the car and me scattered over an area the size of a few football fields, so I slowed down.

Maybe some do. In my personal experience with about 15 illegal immigrants, not one of them did. They wanted as little attention drawn to the business as possible, so that they didn’t fuck anything up.

but worst case for them, it would get them deported.

You’re implying that every employer that would have a need for illegal labor is operating above the table. Having had an occupation in an area that was comprised predominantly of an illegal workforce, guys have worked years on phony documents, having had payroll taxes deducted from each check.

You know how hard it is to come up with a fake social security number to get a job? You can get one for $20 at a swap meet. It’s not so much “identity fraud” most of the time that it’s more a fake name and fake number.

That’s what I gathered from listening to / reading Lehto’s pieces. If you modified the exhaust and the timing chain snapped, it should legally be covered.

I’m voting CP at any price on this one.
