edit: redacted. I’ll play nice.

I read your question as “Why don’t car enthusiasts like $75,000 baby strollers that handle like a Maersk container ship?”

This is what I scrolled down to type, verbatim.

The Yukon Denali - The only vehicle for yuppies who feel that they have to take all of their one child’s earthly belongings with them everywhere they go.

Counterpoint: an EMP goes off, and all of your used exotic cars are now completely useless.

This Ford Probe thinks that Ford Probe is an unsightly disaster.

SUVs are historically body-on-frame. They’re all CUVs now, since they share their platform with a car, IMHO anyway.

That’s interesting. I was just in West Hollywood / Beverly Hills recently and noticed way more badged entry level C class and 3 series than I would have thought possible.

They don’t debadge in California because vapid folks don’t know anything about cars, so all they see is “Mercedes” and think that an S600 is the same as a C230.

The joke is in your pants.

Troll what? Are you his mother? Calm the fuck down, it all started with a mild joke and now you’re taking it personally.

Quit purchasing from suppliers that reside in war zones or that use leaky ships?

I really am looking for a project car for this summer, but i haven’t the faintest idea of what I would do with a Jetta to make it interesting enough for me. Slap a turbo, coilovers, poly bushings and track it? Would it be any good?

I know. But for someone as brilliant as Musk is supposed to be, there’s a very simple solution for most of the challenges they’ve faced with suppliers.

“Look at all the problems I’m having getting my bottom dollar materials from slave labor third world countries and feel sad for me.”

Her boyfriend, who was driving the Nissan, chimed in, saying: “I told [my girlfriend] to hold on because I didn’t know how bad it was gonna get.”

Put a button right by the radio controls on your steering wheel (Or use one of the actual radio control buttons) as an “ok” button to clear messages. Problem solved.

That’s a valid point. I guess my point is that business (especially in the tech world) is an increasingly subscription / annuity based model.

Changing to a monthly subscription model would be worse for everyone including Tesla.

Autorenewed subscriptions are guaranteed revenue. My point is that Tesla will find a profitable way to offer per use / monthly / quarterly / yearly autorenewed subscriptions to their supercharging network.
