That’s not what he’s saying. It’s that you should only evolve pokemon with 3 states when you can do both at the same time.

I did this and was under the impression that the game calculates your steps while evolving pokemon. It apparently does not! So I thought while I was walking around and evolving pokemon my egg would finish hatching once I closed the window.

I think different pokemon actually have different multipliers when evolving. So you can evolve a high CP weedle to a kakauna but the CP doesn’t actually go up very much and it’s not near a doubling.

the good third level evos are going to take forever to grind. Garydos is 400 magikarp candies. I’ve only gotten 1 from an egg.
