You’re an asshole. Having this protest on the weekend after the inauguration-THE BUSIEST WEEKEND IN DC-was monumentally stupid. Already people are going to be inconvenienced because DC pretty much screeches to a complete stop for this, but now add however many people are showing up to protest? And you don’t get why

Ugh the Obama first ignauragiton comittee should have publicly shamed for that mess. I still have terrible flashes to the metro and sidewalks.

As someone who is disproportionately inconvenienced by protests on every issue, if I agree with it and have even donated towards it, it still fucks up my commute. If I find it vile, it fucks up my commute. Neither the good nor the vile seem to make much difference (in DC at least) beyond fucking up my commute.

As one of the people who is required to be on the Hill on the 20th the nightmare of planning on how to get in and out of DC have already begun.

As a DC resident, please do not protest this event. Not because I like Trump, but the whole city is already fucked by the inauguration, and protests will already make it double fucked.

Thanks. I do like Starbucks, too, but Caribou was a nice change of pace and some of their lattes were better.

Sigh, I miss Caribou Coffee, they pulled out of my city a year or two ago. Was like Starbucks but certain drinks were better, and the vibe was a little more casual since they were considered a “lesser” chain. Also, 10 cents off a order if you got the trivia question right, and they had free wi-fi while Starbucks was

No one thought they were risking their life to live here. Sure, the crime in cities is usually higher, but my partner didn’t think she was risking her life to go fucking dance. She didn’t even know what ghostship was, she was meeting a friend who was taking her.

Bernie would have lost electoral vote by a wider margin and probably would have lost popular vote as well. He is rather far out there to the left, and lost primary by a wide margin (13 million to Hillary’s 17 million votes), despite more debates than any other Democrat primary in the past 30 years.

I was actually speechless for several moments after reading this. I am honestly not sure how this story fits in with what I was under the impression was a rational world. I am a little worried I am going to walk outside and gravity just won’t be a thing anymore.

Yeah, I’ve eaten at Comet Ping Pong many times and had intended to go eat there again to support it. I don’t think I can anymore, and I kind of think this is going to be it for the restaurant. It’ll go out of business pretty soon because of this.

It’s the first time at MoA, which at least makes it noteworthy within the Twin Cities. (I used to live within walking distance of the MoA, and local media reported on pretty much everything that happened there.)

Goddamnit. I seriously can’t remember a day in the last month where I haven’t hated humanity at least once.

My boy is due on 25th of December and so far we have chosen:

They will tear each other into pieces. Jesus Christ, this will be fun!

Just remember white Christian males between the ages of 18 and 45 are the real victims here.

Hivemind is a very appropriate term. These folks aren’t so skilled at that critical reading and thinking business.

Many of ‘em can’t hear light bulbs, either. I know. It seems weird when you’re used to it.

You know, it’s funny, I went to Paisley Park a couple of weeks ago and all I could smell was lavender.

Still can’t watch the news, so I don’t know what’s going on here, but I just came to say that Rep. Ellison is beloved in MN. Even the people who hate his politics still respect the guy because of his absolute devotion to his district and his state. He has deeply held and very strong convictions, but he is not an
