Was this the guy that blamed Hollywood movies for gun violence, or was it another Congressman? I briefly heard part of an interview this morning on NPR, but didn’t catch the name.

Not as good as Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen...
I mean, the This American Life segment came off as “I went in with what I thought was open eyes, and... I came away disappointed.” It would’ve been nice to have a clearer “I was wrong” moment in there, or “my mama was right”, to tie back into the anecdotes about when he first talked about talking to his family about…
They know what it is, that’s why they have rebranded / are rebranding it. It’s at least one area where the base is not quite ready to accept any “X is bad” statement... “family” and “reunification” are still triggering for “good”, even when “their guy” says it isn’t.
Fight scenes aside, the rest of the movie was... not the best. Well on par for a Saturday afternoon action flick, but not quite at the polish of a Bond movie. She’s definitely getting better at acting, though.
Hope it turns out all right. The judge sounds... uninformed? There have been a few very public cases that would contradict her stance...
Don’t forget the charts and graphs. Leadership by Powerpoint!
I think that this line of reasoning will fall on deaf ears when directed at MC. When defining demand as “if it sells, then there’s still enough demand to support it”, one gets to supporting loan sharks (“if they’re dumb enough to sign on to these ridiculous rates, then that’s their problem, not mine”), junk insurance…

Still astounding that that wasn’t enough to start up impeachment proceedings. If Hillary or Obama or Bill had gone and done that, I would wonder how fast proceedings could possibly have been brought, and by how many.
This bad thing enables these groups to do these other bad things. One of these groups does these other bad things, the other currently doesn’t. We don’t trust either to not do these other bad things, so this bad thing needs to stop. But comparing both groups as equally bad because of just this one thing is to ignore…
Watching this season’s finale made me cautiously optimistic, then unreasonably sad, then cautiously optimistic. I’m not sure what that says about me, but I think it means the show is still working, for me...
Mostly up to Ryan, I think... not sure he cares.
... and protection against wolves / coyotes that may infringe on the property. Or bears. A heavy revolver or long guns are generally best for those cases, but rarely (never?) an extended magazine or semi-auto weapon.
Not this guy, right?
Not ICE, but Border Patrol...
