There are pretty good ways to accurately track how much metabolic activity someone generates and how much caloric intake they have. I’m assuming that “the best studies” are pretty objective in their measurements.

Now playing

Funny how only one of the three served their country in the armed forces (spoiler alert: it wasn’t the President).

That makes zero sense. China does not control Taiwan. Unless you argument is that China is going to go to war with the entire nation of Taiwan just because someone who didn’t even work for Blizzard said he supported Hong Kong during a broadcast, I’m not sure how that would even be relevant.

Let’s be real, NOBODY reads that much history anymore. The greatest generation used to park themselves in front of the History Channel and watch documentaries about the war they fought it, but these days, most of them are dead or on their last legs and the History Channel is mostly science fiction.

No, he’s abandoning an ally because someone told him there were a handful of US troops in Northern Syria, he decided on a whim to pull them out without any attempt or ability to understand the geopolitics involved, and now that he’s publicly committed to doing it, he won’t back down and is just looking for ways to

It’s almost as if we live in a society and our society has created laws to decide what is acceptable behavior for employers. For instance, employing 12 year olds to work in coal mines? Not acceptable. Employing adults to work in coal mines and not providing them with proper safety equipment or bathroom breaks? Not

Who decides what something is supposed to be? The only correct answer is, the law. And there is nothing in the law that defines a “side-hustle”.

Also, people who are fundamentally ignorant of how to actually calculate the value of their work. When you add up stuff like 0.58 USD per mile driven, the cost of unemployment insurance, the cost of paid sick days, the cost of employment taxes, the cost of medical insurance, and everything else that you pay yourself

In Inferno, Dante wrote that God had reserved a special place in hell for those angels that did not pick a side in the great war between good and evil.

This has nothing to do with following the law. Blizzard is based in Irvine and there is no law in California that requires them to act in this manner.

A lot of people care more about money than morals.

I think you guys are overblowing this thing a little too much.

I mean, in many states, if an employee saves his bosses life by performing CPR, his boss has the legal right to fire him for taking an unscheduled break.

The only one that managed to control this shit show at all was Kelly. But even he lost control after a few months of dealing with a petulant child and his family.

Well, it’s also that PG&E has been funneling money to executives and investors instead of paying for basic maintenance. If they actually had fully inspected and cleared trees from around power lines, this would not be such an issue.

I’m not saying that they are exactly the same. I’m just saying that the spin of the anti-impeachment defenders should probably be the same.

I think you’re a bit confused. The perjury was for lying under oath in a court proceeding. Obstruction is related to an investigation, not a court proceeding.

It is not a specific poll. It is basically a weighted average* of all current scientific polls. It looks like it has climbed almost 10% since the Ukraine story broke.

The American people* elected. . . .

Congress’s next step is pretty much to appeal to the courts. Hopefully they will move swiftly and justly.
