I am enjoying the show but honestly I think they should have just done a show about Charlie and the Nicoletti family’s cons and capers. I like Emma, but her CIA and family dramas are only interesting in connection to Charlie being a con man and how his life affects her work. Daphne is more interesting than Emma as a

Is Josh Segarra just everywhere all of the sudden, or is that me? No complaints, he’s great in everything but I feel like I’m just seeing him pop up constantly.

I like Dermot Kennedy and the original song (which are more like Bon Iver vibes I think), but the song they played was a remix version called “Dermot (See Yourself In My Eyes)“ which has a dance beat so I can see it being something a bunch of 16 year olds play loudly and dance to on a bus.

She’s my pick! She’s a delight.

I was honestly floored and had a moment of “is that just Nicdao?”. She was amazing.

He’s dead in the world of the show.

I grew up with BSB and really loved this adaptation. It took the old series and elevated it into modern times in a way that felt true to the spirit of the original series. I also have a serious crush on Marc Evan Jackson who plays Mary-Anne’s dad.

I thought it might be Yasper because he kept claiming he was down in the recording studio, and I thought we saw him in other people’s stories at that time (though I guess we didn’t, if he was hiding in the closet). I thought Walt was a little too pathetic to murder someone, but I agree he was a season long red

I was a child in Naperville in 1996, and I am both surprised and not surprised at all that this started there. I remember my mom suggesting we sell ours when the craze was at a fever pitch but my brothers and I were children who just wanted to keep our toys lol. Too bad we didn’t listen.

Annoyingly watchable is a great description of how I felt during S1. I loved all the characters but I was so irritated at everyone the whole show. I was cautiously optimistic about a S2, so I’m glad to hear that its correcting some of that!

I enjoyed the first one because the tropes of ‘secret relationship’ and ‘forbidden romance’ are things I will always get sucked into. But there was zero need for a second one - I thought the first one ended in a solid way. I don’t really care if they continue their teen romance.

I just reread this book and now I’m too excited.

A-mini-diel made me laugh out loud. What goober he is.

I think that scene was in her office

This was EXACTLY my question when the movie ended.

The worm was named after the special effects guy David Niednagel - they talk him up on the podcast all the time

I’ve attempted to watch this but apparently all my technology is too old so nothing will play it. Oh well, whenever I upgrade, I’ll see it

But.. why?

He seems to have respect for her authority at the least. After he mocked Nate for getting hit by a girl and Sara asked if he had ever been hit by one, he clammed up real fast and called her Ma’am

I’m not as much of a fan of this episode. I still liked it, I always enjoy this show, but I thought the budget problems were dumb - haven’t they established before that Gideon basically creates everything for them? I get that’s a bit of magical hand waving but the Legends were around before the time bureau exsisted. I
