Peyton Manning has always been a fucking asshole.
Peyton Manning has always been a fucking asshole.
Agreed. She’s showing such strength for her fans and against the terrorists. Perfect response. Actually perfect
I loved this so much. While it hasn’t been said exactly what the motivation was for targeting Ariana Grande’s concert to begin with, I can’t help but think it was in part about the fact that so many little girls are her biggest fans.
Good for her. She deserves a lot of credit for her response to the attack and her attempt to push through all of it to provide some normality for her fans.
I’m far too old to have had any opinion of Ariana Grande before this, but she has impressed me enormously. She was poised, emotional, engaged and engaging and she did a fabulous job. What a role model. Really well done. Somewhere Over the Rainbow was outstanding.
Ariana Grande is a hero.
He’s not your Big, Eric. He’ll always be your Aidan.
*extremely Chris Christie voice* This article really speaks to me.
Let’s never forget that a few years ago Wayne Brady said he would beat Maher’s ass in public if he saw that man.
I’m glad the rest of the world is finally figuring out he’s a 61 year old edge lord with nothing meaningful to say.
If you’re a white person, and you’re not a professor of linguistics giving a seminar on the history of racial epithets to postgrads, stop it. Stop it now. Whatever the situation, even in “irony” [and from your perspective without malice], you’ve radically misjudged the mood. Stop it.
I love you, Australian news outlet.
I’ve never been all that into Arianna. But how she’s coping with this tragedy seems fantastic. I imagine dealing with the aftermath, and her relation to the attack, is extremely difficult. In every regard she seems to be confronting the reality of the situation and dealing with it. That takes strength of…
Had I been in her position– headlining a concert that had been bombed– my every crazy emotional insecurity / fear / disorder would have been triggered full-blast.
Here, have some more:
Arianna, you’re a good egg.
I’m impressed that even Simon Cowell is not being an arsehole - the Britain’s Got Talent finale has been moved so that it doesn’t clash with the televised benefit concert (apologies, yes that’s yet another god-awful British show that we’ve infected America with, like American Idol and X-Factor).
I don’t think there could be a better way that Ariana handled the aftermath of this tragedy so far. My respect for her has shot up.
You know, I wouldn’t have blamed her if she never wanted to go near Manchester ever again, let alone give another concert there. The thought of that must be freaking her out at least a little. But she’s hanging in like a real trouper. This kid (yeah, I know, she’s 23 - but still) seems pretty alright.
These kids deserve a bit of light after everything that’s happened.
