On another note, I have slightly forgiven Amy Sherman-Palladino for the god-awful Gilmore Girls reboot season, because of the amazingness that is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

This is a good first step.

“You are a rude, thoughtless little pig. You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being. “I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old, or 11 years old, or that you’re a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do as far as I’m concerned. “Once again I have

This year can we not alienate the shit out of WOC? It was a shit show with BLM and Native American women. I’m looking at you, fellow white women.

I get where you’re coming from, but please recognize that the ones you see in your social media feeds are not the only people doing the march. There are plenty out there doing the grunt work for this march—you just don’t see them because they aren’t posting about it all the time!

A recent ex-friend trolls politicians they don’t like on Facebook. Even went to the march last year (of course posted on FB). But heaven forbid doing any grunt work or ya know, helping brown people. *White Alabama did not even almost do the right thing!

We (in Atlanta) called my brother (in Auburn) and threatened to pull his plate at Christmas breakfast and dinner if he didnt vote today. Black folks everywhere should take this win.

Because Lauer was a white male who was moderately good at his job. Therefore it was taken for granted he was the ONLY reason the show was having any success it was. The women were considered fluff and therefore, replicable.

I think we know why the women were rotated through quickly. Why no one ever thought, “Hey, maybe we should just replace the guy who’s the problem instead of the women who did nothing wron,” tells you how deeply ingrained misogyny is in everything.

What if it’s the traditional values that are degenerating Western society, hmm?

His “strategy” of being so awful and continuously saying awful things is working: I am exhausted. Just add it to the ever-growing pile that is so large it will eventually bury us all under a suffocating blanket of horribleness.
