Said this in another post, but let’s be honest. Baltimore does have challenges (I’ve spent a bunch of time there).

Two things can be true at the same time — Baltimore can be troubled, and the president can criticize the city in a manner that is racist.
I always find WYTS to be a little depressing — so much incompetence, and so many shitty people as fans. Even when we get to the good teams, it’s a tough read at times.
Met him a few years ago. Nice dude.
Crabcake eggs Benedict is one of the few redeeming things about Maryland.
Kompromat? Nah. Just fear of the base/being primaried.
I don’t think this has anything to do with partisan politics, but rather, a poorly written law. It’s obviously meant to prevent people from running off-the-books shops (I would think most people would be against off-the-books shops) but as Jason mentions, it’s a little too broadly written and would allow the county to…
Show me the lie.
I dunno ... I have some gay friends who love country.
The other shoe is going to be taxes. I actually understand why they need to go up — we need the dough, or rather, this state does — but some people only care about that and aren’t going to be happy, especially at the gas pump.

This is partly a result of a media-industry in which overworked bloggers and writers are just posting aggregated content without checking it’s veracity, since the original outlets are trusted. Problem is, if one of the first to post is wrong, everyone is wrong.
It wasn’t homophobic, I assure you. Making the distinction doesn’t mean I am worried about someone thinking I am gay — I don’t care about that. Just figured that a straight man saying “hey I appreciate this even though I am not the intended audience” was respectful.
Grew up down the street from him. Didn’t know him well -- I was friendlier with his older brother -- but a mutual friend reminded me how smart James was back in grade school. I just remember him as the bratty younger brother who didn’t understand why he couldn’t hang with the older kids.
I am a man who is NOT into other men, but I gotta respect the game.
I knew that thanks to Wedding Crashers and a basic understanding of Maryland geography (not from the state, have spent time there). “Sailing is like sex to these people!”
Make men wear heels. Problem solved.
Sadly, there is some truth to this.
