I had a good roommate. But someone in my dorm peed on his roommate’s rug one drunken night.

I am a Bears fan. If you don’t think there are people still drooling over Ditka, including people who don’t remember 1985, you’re wrong. I remember the biggest criticism of Lovie is that he didn’t yell enough. I am waiting for Matt Nagy to get the same treatment whenever the glow of this year’s success wears off. He’s

No one comes on the bean, it’s always under watchful eyes like security, I assume.

This is why I support single-payer. If employers aren’t on the hook for benefits, at least these folks are covered.

Somewhere, nodding approvingly, the Dude abides.

Former grocery store worker here. After 8 or 8:30 pm on worknights, it dies. The only customers were college kids and slightly older 20-somethings grabbing booze or toothpaste that they ran out of, and people who had to work late. It’s a desert otherwise.

I never knew people watched the movie in this way. I never saw it -- I was already in my mid-20s when it came out and my parents (one Catholic, one Lutheran) aren’t terribly religious (and not pushy about the parts that they do care about) so I wasn’t going to be forced to see the thing. I don’t run Jalopnik....or even work for GMG.

I was going to ask “parents” but given who the president is, now I have to ask if it’s him.

This speaks to a larger problem in society: Bullies who get called on their shit, and either say “what did I do?” or try to justify or play the victim. I saw this all the time as a kid. Someone would get bullied, a teacher would catch the bully in the act, and the bully would play the victim card. Except now the adult

There’s a reference to the movie Collateral in here somewhere...

Well, at least one Indiana Jones movie was a disaster, so....

Given that every anti-vaxxer I know is a far-left loon or far-right loon, this does not shock me.

Oh, I agree with most or maybe even all of your OP. Just pointing out that there’s a financial reason behind that one thing.

Has any sports franchise ever become this detestable in such a short period of time?

The flyovers are paid recruitment ads for the military, more or less. Doesn’t make your point less accurate, but it’s not just about blind patriotism.

Used to work in that town. It has a high LatinX population. So the possibility the person is LatinX is higher than in most places, just based on demographics.

Me either. “New York, New York” is a fine song if you’re from there or like me, someone who isn’t but likes to visit. But one hit does not a musical genius make.

Road trip: Silence. I once was on an overseas flight that played the same five songs over and over again on the rock channel (it was 1999) and I hated it.

If it’s too personal, he doesn’t owe us. But if he is willing to talk, I want to hear.
