I like this team (I have no dog in the hunt, I’m a Blackhawks fan) but I think Vegas might be able to beat them. Then again, Nashville is better than Vegas and lost in 7 at home, so what do I know?

This doesn’t shock me. I don’t know how well Bill Maher knows her, but he claimed they were friends and said she’s essentially a socialist and he doesn’t know why she’s supporting Trump on his show recently. He called her out.
Not to defend victim-blaming, but Rosenbloom’s schtick has long been sarcasm. So this may be a failed joke as opposed to a bad hot take. Doesn’t make it right, just providing context.
Just wrote that above. Not only is it morally right for the NFL to do the right thing, it costs less, too.
I have no patience for anyone who reads this, shrugs, and says “well the players knew what they were getting into.” Not these guys. Not back then. So a preemptive fuck you to anyone who says that.
Coincidentally listening to a song with the line “the slave becomes the master” as I read this...
First off, politics often intersects with those topics. Second, Splinter remains left-leaning and HamNo is likely more a draw than a drawback.
I edit. We’re all good at proofreading. None of us are perfect, and there’s a vast difference between good and perfect.
I once used the to-go app to order while in the store, because I forgot my wallet. #lifehack.
Well 15-year-old me did find a new appreciation for Nicole Kidman, at least. The only reason to watch is for eye candy of her and Barrymore (that goes for Kilmer and O’Donnell, too, for the ladies and gay/bi men).
I am around your age, in an on-and-off thing and dating again because it’s off currently, and I think the “growing up” thing is somewhat true. Our generation likes to extend the party, and the economy has also forced many of us to delay buying a home, marrying, having kids. Even the married parents I know are a little…
Nasacort helps somewhat, but it’s $15 fucking bucks a bottle. What happened to economies of scale, yo?
Yep. Especially six months in. Break up in private. If it was a few weeks or dates, I’d call (texting is OK if it’s just been one or two dates. But more than that, or if you’ve been intimate, you gotta call or do it in person).
That’s the thing about this — there’s an assumption (which is probably racist) that all black people think alike. I am not black, but I think it’s safe to say that not all black people are liberal/progressive/Democrat/anti-Trump. Black folks have diverse opinions like anyone else, but as Michael says, the black…
Yup I pay to play, too. If I had in-unit W/D I probably would do laundry more often. That, and I work from home, so I sometimes push it on how long I wear a T-shirt and shorts. I did laundry a lot more when I was an office drone.
I just wash my towels whenever I do laundry, which for me, a single man living alone, is only once a week. If I had a family, I’d say wash them every few loads.
I was in the target demo when this became a thing and I somehow managed to avoid it. I regret nothing.
Eh, I think he mentioned it. He just took 1,000 words to do so. It’s the subtext here.
I happily watched hockey last night. No dog in the fight, but Game Seven. Screw football.
I don’t think this means Ford will be heading for bankruptcy or anything like that. I do think it’s just a short-sighted decision — the crossover craze could fade.
