Why wouldn’t they make competitive the same game all the “casuals” watching competitive actually play? I get the counter-arguments, but maybe us “casuals” don’t mind the aggression the drum gun lends to the pro scene (no 1by1 is safe now). Sure, it’s more RNG, but RNG is a feature in Battle Royale, not a flaw. Pro

You must land in Tilted a lot if you follow the random fill crowd. I don’t think there’s much correlation to skill level based on random’s landing marker timeliness and location, but when I random-fill I place a marker when the bus starts or select the area that someone else did just to try to get the team to land in

He also added that he has a gun two feet from him “at all times while I’m streaming”

Wouldnt have happened if you’d put your xmas stuff away on the 1st like you’re “supposed” to. tskk tskkkk

Yall needed a creative producer on some highlights ripped from the NBC video feed that you cut together and threw your own logo on?

Anyone who likes The Office will do.

I’m not much of a “hype” person, so this is my ideal E3 content to be enjoyed. INSTANT, ASSURED GRATIFICATION

You can upload for free to vimeo. I know I’ve used it at times over youtube because the copyright combs aren’t as strict (which restrict ability to publish on youtube). I think it’s also seen as slightly more professional and preferable for presenting as an entry method to festivals and the like.

So if the Rockets win game 2 can you just admit that you’re an idiot with a post? I’ll be satisfied either way, so don’t sweat it.

“almost certainly not game 5"

This logic good

Do you even play Fortnite?

On that double steal attempt, how were both runners not out? Altuve tagged them both off the base...

I remember when rarity actually meant how rare an item was, not how “effective” it is perceived to be.

Might be harder for them to justify just 10 maps or whatever it usually is at the start if it’s multiplayer-only

Outside of winning, where you place isn’t a great indicator for how “good” you are at Fortnite. Looting is a skill in itself in order to know where chests are, what areas are typically more populated and how to manage your inventory quickly. If you want items, honestly, just land in junk junction and work your way

To be competitive it is almost essential to build. I’d start by trying to “panic build,” when you enter build mode and throw up walls all around you once you get shot from an unseen enemy. Then, start working in a stairs in addition to your walls as a way to peek and locate the threat.

It’s a fun strategy but not overly practical. It’s honestly probably safer and much easier to just straddle the edge of the circle on the ground. At max height, offense is very difficult, plus you’re at an extreme disadvantage once you fire and your vulnerability is revealed.

I’d argue the opposite. More structures in the same space means more places to block view/ explore/ hide in. I think the new areas are being swarmed because they are new and you’re confusing that for some systemic gameplay differences. These areas are less than 24 hours old, keep in mind.

Great post. I’ve rewatched close to 4 times through, and I too always insist the greatness of LOST is in the characters. You just have to accept the plot holes, even though they’re still fun to poke and prod at for mystical answers. For me, the characters were always the heart of the show and its greatness.
