I was a pre-teen Mavs fan. And no, the Lakers only beat them in the WCF once (which was a bullshit series) but the Kings lost in the second round the next two years to the Mavs and Wolves. They were tight matchups, but that’s a far cry from winning multiple championships.

I hated the Kings in the early 2000s when they had Bibby, Webber, Divac, Christie, et al. Just hated them more than any team growing up or since, but I never thought I’d miss them. Except for Scot Pollard. He’s the worst.
