Genes are coded with both male and female gender expressions and which one the body follows is determined by the sex hormones. So the physical sex of the body can be said to be determined by which sex hormone is dominant which in Caitlyn her case would be Estrogen. Thus female.

Sex development in humans is a multistep process. Some people with two X chromosomes end up developing testes and you’d never know they were chromosomally “female.” Likewise, some women spend their whole lives never knowing they have a Y chromosome.

Many years ago my daughter had head lice. I had some question about the treatment so called the 800 number from the box. I asked the “lice line” lady if her head itched all the time sine her job was basically to talk about lice all day. She said not always but yes, definitely some days.

Most black folk back in my day, 70’s & 80’s, taught us to never share hats or ear muffs. I thought they didn’t want us to get blamed by the white parents for bringing the lice. If I recall correctly, none of us got lice but a bunch of white girls got the Dorothy Hamil cut whenever an outbreak occurred.

Did she braid it back? Because my mom would have lost her rabbit ass mind.

I made it through school without lice, and I am nearly positive this is due to the 2+ hours a day I spent in a well-chlorinated pool.
