You don’t need a muffler in order to tune an exhaust. Resonator pipes, header setup...etc work fine sometimes. Take the muffler off any other small four banger and it’s not going to sound like an Abarth.

Maybe something like the systemin my Audi’s brake pads. There’s an embedded wire though them that goes to a sensor. When the pads wear to the point that the wire waers through and the circuit is broken, you get a brake pad warning. It would be easy to add this to tires and a sensor in the TPMS. I saw one of those Roadsters at the Chicago Auto SHow years ago and was kinda dissapointed we never got them here, they looked good and looked like fun! As for the Mirage, who the hell wants one of those for any reason other than it’s all they can afford to drive.........and why aren’t the rest in a sanitarium?!
