It retracts.

I’ve said for a long time that the only way around most of these fees is to treat people like cargo. For example: You get 200# allotted gross weight — person plus luggage — to work with on your “base fare” and receive (or pay) $2 per lb that you come out under (or above) that weight.

Well, to be fair, he did recently release his johnson.

I think you accidentally uploaded pictures of the current gen Passat and not the new one.

Now playing

No, this is induction noise. Behold the S54 with the CSL airbox.

My home made 6 piece orchestra...

Excellent photos! Makes me happy to see Jalopnik showcasing better photos in their stories.

Nope, simple engineering problem, it is coming up more and more. Transmission development happens slower than engine development because for a long time engines were only gaining a few HP ever 4-5 years. Now we are leaping 15-30 HP in a couple years for some cars and transmissions have not kept up the pace. So you

You don’t need a muffler in order to tune an exhaust. Resonator pipes, header setup...etc work fine sometimes. Take the muffler off any other small four banger and it’s not going to sound like an Abarth.

I checked the configurator. There’s a “sport package” for $6200 that has the “sport chrono package”. That probably gets you the extra awesome steering wheel.

This looks barely like a Q5, if they’re ripping anyone off, it’s Buick.

Nicest wheel outside of a GT3. Just like the S5 has the nicest leather outside of a Porsche. It’s the best thing about having a VW group car.

I agree. This was one of the first things I saw and thought “THAT’S LOVELY!”

The purists would rather see the company go out of business. The result of which would send every 911/Cayman/Boxster into the stratosphere price-wise. Then they would bitch that they’re all stupid expensive (you think old 911’s are expensive now?) and the “common man” can no longer afford them. Well, guess what? If

Maybe something like the systemin my Audi’s brake pads. There’s an embedded wire though them that goes to a sensor. When the pads wear to the point that the wire waers through and the circuit is broken, you get a brake pad warning. It would be easy to add this to tires and a sensor in the TPMS. Or don’t be a lazy ass

I know it’s easy to blame the FIA for this, but this is more about shared culpability than anything. The FIA has their role, but so does FOM for that matter, as well as Pirelli, and the fans. The fans bit might surprise some, but I believe so much of what we have is an outgrowth of casual fans whining endlessly for

I saw one of those Roadsters at the Chicago Auto SHow years ago and was kinda dissapointed we never got them here, they looked good and looked like fun! As for the Mirage, who the hell wants one of those for any reason other than it’s all they can afford to drive.........and why aren’t the rest in a sanitarium?!
