At its worst, I felt Birdman was forgettable. Crash and Green Book are two pretentious white savior movies which make them worse. 

The Favourite was my favourite, but I can see how it wasn’t every voters cup of tea. I don’t even think it was the lot of women talking part. It’s the Yorgos Lanthimos is a bit weird issue and the movie is weird (though more historically accurate than either Green Book or Bohemian Rhapsody).

I don’t know that Spike Lee was upset that he didn’t win so much as upset that Green Book won. Like if he had lost, but Roma had won, I don’t know his reaction would have been the same. He wasn’t visibly upset when Cuaron beat him for Director.

Rehashing the 2016 Democratic primary is SO dumb and tired. I’ve moved on to better, more enlightened thoughts, like rehashing the 2004 Democratic primary. Edwards Would’ve Won!

Whomever wins the Dem primary, I hope they actually visit and campaign in the Midwest and swing states this time.. even if they have to take a private jet to get there.
