Not sure why they’re tearing it down, now that the road is closed just hit it with a truck going the other direction
Looks nice, but man do I hate the touch-screen-that-looks-like-a-tablet-mashed-into-the-counsel look. Obviously it’s not just Jeep...seems like every carmaker is doing this. Please integrate your screens into the counsel.
They’d do a lot better to just put slap a 100% tax on cars that sell over 250.000€ and use the money to fit more renewable energy.
Here’s a great example of EU bureaucrats wasting time on nonsense. Forcing low-volume automakers to produce less-polluting models is such a false economy (in terms of the environment) that it’s hardly even worth the trouble. Most models from automakers delivering less than 10.000 cars per year are almost certainly for…
There is a meth brand called “life”, now?
Not least because Crews tends to be in fairly shitty movies.
Key fob on my Fiat 500 Abarth. Went to start the car one day, and instead was greeted with the security system being triggered. After dealer inspection, they found that the BCM had “forgotten” the key fob, and since they were “marry once and throw away” keys, my only choice was to buy a new key fob. Oh... except the…
Must be expensive to work on if the owner has put 8500 dollars into it and it still needs paint and a new interior.
Exactly. This was a car that even the Brits didn’t particularly care about.
The point of this whole thing is NOT that Tesla wouldn’t do a $700 fix. It’s that Tesla designed the battery pack in a fundamentally stupid way, where the entire battery pack needs to be replaced when a small plastic part breaks. This would be like (as someone else said in another comment) if Ford designed an engine…
Some tankers, but not all tankers, are segmented which allows for delivering multiple grades of unleaded + diesel. My grandpa designed trailers for a living and I know entirely too much about these things for someone who needs to know absolutely nothing about them.
Exactly. I can’t speak for Mercedes, but I worked at a dealer group with a Porsche store, and Porsche is absolutely militant when it comes to exporters, and we had to do checks on buyers and turn down business because a buyer came up on their exporter list. Selling to an exporter could lead to sanctions by the…
I was wondering from the photos if that was a tiny bike and/or a huge guy. Mentioning your weight answered that question. :D
Because it cuts the manufacturer out of a local sale, and causes business complications with local, regional and national tax authorities who may feel said manufacturer is complicit in the tax evasion.
“Unless you’re on a motorcycle just don’t.”
truck prices have only gone up. This is still the 2.5k priced truck, just adjusted for the market now. especially since there isn’t an equivalent new small truck.
Dissenting opinion: this is the lowest spec, smallest engine, wrong transmission, only half the the wheels driven. And the First pic looks like it has body damage on the fender, but that maybe just a shadow.
10 years ago this was a $2500 truck.
ND for all but the most oddly nostalgic.
but I will admit that its a good old…
Hey, I work out of these things for a living, so I have a few pointers.
