Yeah. I allow for the fact that I might be hypersensitive and I’m sure he is a great guy in real life. Conventions have to be exhausting.

Yet another bland, generic lunch with a boatload of calories?

Did you eat your sandwhich or trade it for fanboi tears?

How was your first day at troll school?

Just incredibly rude and dismissive to fans at a place where he was (ostensibly) there to meet fans. His son is the one who came up with the premise and the storylines and I thought maybe he would have something nice to say to my girlfriend’s six-year-old son who was just getting into comics and was fascinated with

What’s your question, friend?

I was pretty ignorant when I bought an Xbox and thought for sure I would get the best and earliest Destiny content. Made sense in my brain. Should have researched.

All you have proved is that you were a racist four-year-old.

I met the creator of that book and it was not a good experience. That has forever turned me off reading it.

Sure that too. My point still stands.

He did make mistakes, especially considering the world he lived in. I knew they were going to kill him as soon as he got to King’s Landing. He should have gone home to Winterfell before telling anyone about Cersei and Jamie.

The last thing in the world Ned wanted for Jon was any kind of destiny. Other than a quiet life long into old age. Ned was not a person who believed in the glory and spectacle of the Game. He wouldn’t have wanted any of his heirs to be kings or wargs or Faceless men. He wasn’t at all thrilled with marrying Sansa off

It was dry as Tatooine here till that last pic. Drought’s over, folks!

I’m not crying.

Bite what now? I have no idea if she is a good writer or not. I was commenting on the fact that everyone seems unable to talk about her without mentioning she was once on welfare. I said nothing about her ability, no need to defend her against me. In fact, I think it does her a disservice. If she is good (the movies

Yeah I would get rid of the Maul Machine, but then I like my kid ;).

Agreed. I can’t count the number of times I have heard a story about some Hollywood celeb or rockstar who spent a year “homeless” on the West Coast or Thailand or some shit. That’s not homeless that’s just directionless youth. Nothing wrong with it, but the very fact it is seen as romantic illustrates that it isn’t

It’s clearly some sort of universal requirement to mention this fact everytime someone brings up Rowling. Is her writing not good enough outside the context of her poverty? (I would not know, having been too old to pick up a kid’s series when the books came out.)

That’s not how they have always worked. They have always been yours to keep forever. If it’s not that way now, it is a recent change. A shitty change too.

This continues an unfortunate trend in America of stigmatizing and/or making light of mental illness. I see you call it “divergence” so maybe my disorder doesn’t fit this conversation. I am however, mentally ill and receiving effective treatment, but even among my friends and family “bi-polar” is still used casually
