I'm happy to defend the Lefty sold out, didn't shoot Pancho theory.  In the line, "the day they laid poor Pancho low, Lefty split for Ohio," I take "they" to be the federales and "laid . . . low" as killed.  It's possible you could read the latter to be his burial, but it doesn't make sense with the chorus.

Not for nothing, but the two most recent Batman videogames not only feature excellent work by Hamill, but are two of the best overall titles released in the last five years.  Highest recommendation.

Well, let's not go too far.  He's made his share of dreck.  If you're looking for professional success, hard to top Harrison Ford from the original cast.  But I think what people respond to is Hamill's humility, which probably came from the hard times, too.

Bablyon 5 seems to me the definition of a mediocre show that doesn't need revisiting: for example, the first reason given that the good parts are "revelatory" is that the early stuff is crap.  That said, I am liking this thread for the old-school AV Club nerd vibe.  Can we get 2500 words on how Worff influenced Grunt?
