Woah woah woah.. Three PLAYOFF games for a first time offender (in nine NHL seasons) is not coming "down fairly easy". I think it's very fair actually especially given the fact that the Blackhawks now have to turn around an 0-2 deficit without one of their best and most reliable players.

The issue will be what happens when the league gets some tape on him. Right now he is new, but that can wear off quickly. It also helps that he has been facing the Cubs (who are the Cubs), the Blue Jays (who suck), and the Orioles (who never met a pitch they wouldn't swing at).
