The 530e is the real deal. Platform was designed for the hybrid portion. The 330e is kind of kludged together from the gas platform and suffers in both performance and mileage.

Diesels may be known for their longevity but there is still a lot of complicated BMW around it. So I will make my usual comment that spending significant cash for a depreciating asset with a high cost of ownership isn’t a good play.

It is better than most but the slopped roof kills storage and the floating roof look is just ick.
