I agree that people can be mad about two things at once. My argument wasn't they should only be allowed to be upset about one thing at a time. My argument was that a large portion of them were unaware of the second, hence why they weren't as mad about it.

I think there's a pretty discernable difference between what HDTGM and MST3K (both of which I love as well) do versus people lashing out because they wasted their own time.

The MLP bit was stellar. It managed to combine the best of cranky, over-analytical old-school Patton with the more grounded, thoughtful story-based Patton stuff.

I'm just curious… as somebody who wasn't close to the whole GamerGate thing at all…. Why didn't the people who were "genuinely" concerned with ethics in game journalism branch off from the name GamerGate? In order to distance themselves from those who used the name to harass and threaten people?
