Yngwie. Fucking. Malmsteen.
Indeed it was and still is! Bastard won't let the poor thing die. He even reportedly had it stripped down and turned into a horse-drawn carriage just so he could sneak it into "The Quick and the Dead"
I always preferred Ho-Ho's over Twinkies. But given the choice between a Ho-Ho and a Hostess Cupcake? No contest.
As a post person, I wish they had shot this on a slightly better camera and hired somebody with a little better digital compositing skills.
Either that or "the classic" from the Evil Dead franchise.
I want to be able to upvote this fifty more times, please. Disqus? Anyone? Hello?
This sounds like the type of guy I'd like to high five at some point. And I NEVER high five somebody… unless I'm extremely excited. Or intoxicated. Or somebody posts up for me first. Don't want to be rude.
Hmm... weird coincidence this came out today.
Adult Swim actually just put up all (Well... most... there are a few holes here and there) of the episodes of SGC2C on their website. You don’t even have to have a cable login to watch em! Having a CMC Tribute marathon as we speak.
My favorite part was when Romine, still not grasping the concept of “opinion”, demanded that Sterling admit that the gun sounds in Slaughtering Grounds were good. “THEY WERE MADE BY HOLLYWOOD PROFESSIONALS! THEY WERE REAL GUN SOUNDS! HOW CAN YOU SAY THEY AREN’T ANY GOOD?!!”
That's some excellent Gary Oldman cosplay there, JK.
I always wanted a version of Saw 2 were the detective just sits down with Jigsaw and they have a lovely little chat about art and love and sacrifice for about 90 minutes. Then the safe opens and everybody hugs and cue some Nine Inch Nails song or whatever.
*casually walks across the frame with a pair of hedge clippers while somebody slips on a violin*
If you’ve never heard it, check out the “interview” Jim did with DH on Soundcloud. It’s... a testament to Jim’s saint-like patience that he didn’t call them all the c-word and ended the call 20 minutes in.
I just felt a rustling in the Jimmies... as if millions of shitty Steam keys suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
Oh that’s it!!!!!
For the record: One of the original crew members, Ben Rock, has been writing a series of articles on the making of BWP for Dread Central. It's a pretty interesting read if you wanna know how they actually put it together. The last one goes up next Monday. Highly recommended.
On the one hand, I don't care enough to muster up any sort of feeling about RHCP these days.
It's kind of a complex ending and I could definitely see 80s horror fans like "Whut?".
