That struck me too. I know plenty of atheists from around the world who would balk at the idea that it's "uniquely American".

Earlier this morning, I was reading an article on The Daily Beast headlined "Are Atheists the New Mormons?" It's an annoyingly provocative title, but, heck, I almost called this piece "Happy Good Friday: God Doesn't Exist," so who am I to judge.

That's not what I've seen. I've seen that latinos are very hard working people and work together well. Unlike the AA community who aren't and don't. That is the reason that "The Hood" from the 70's to 90's is largely gone. Rents went up. Larger family groups could pay it. Smaller groups could not.

Wow. Way to lazily generalize about Mexicans and Central Americans.

From my quick Googling of Project ROSE, it seems like an awful program. Arresting sex workers and making them criminals is not "helping" them, and a school of social work should know this.

The truth is, if Jesus didn't really have a wife or girlfriend, there is only one alternative left (which kind of makes sense, with all those burly fishermen always hanging around). This makes me wonder why the Vatican is not pushing for the wife option.

This dude I swear I will hire him to be my personal chef if this continues. Or kidnap him...

Not when you consider the public cost of homeless frequently visiting hospitals for illnesses related to their housing situation. I've seen money spent worse by the government.
