Yeah, you’ll fit right in...
Wait... so you put diesel in your gas truck on 3 separate occasions?
I feel you, Torch. Not that long ago, I gave up my ‘89 f150 with the 300 and 4 on the floor. Sure a truck may not sound like a ton of fun to drive, but that’s only if you’ve never whipped an old american truck with no sound insulation, a four speed with a damn near 3 foot throw, and a power plant that provides enough…
Assuming I can find garage queen examples, it would be a tough choice:
$1.3M!? I’m no mathematician, but you could do a complete frame-off restoration on like 120 miatas for that kind of scrilla. You get a miata, and you get a miata... everyone gets a miata! Now that would be the philanthropic move of a lifetime! Or how about instead of dumping more money than most people make in a…
I would avoid anything crashed, period. The terrains were basically the same between 2010 and 2017, but the 13's and up got the 3600 LFX motor which is a big improvement over the older generations of 3.6's. I am not entirely sure about which motor the older terrains come with. Don’t get the 2.4 though, unless you have…
depends on the year. The 3.6L is a decent motor, but were known for timing chain issues. As long as you do that every 75k or so, they’ll run
I’m sure I’ll catch a fair amount of flak for recommending a VW, but I would look at the alltracks. DSG trans, AWD, more comparable in size to a outback, and just as boring to drive. I worked at a VW dealership for a while last year, and they couldn’t give those fuckin alltracks away. The rebates were ridiculous.
If your kids have legs, don’t do it! The 3rd rows in these SUV’s are all laughable, especially in the suburban/tahoes (considering the size of the vehicles). The body on frame construction will have you eating your knees if you get stuck in the 3rd row. Nothing moves a family like a van. Sure, they aren’t cool, but…
A manual won’t keep him from texting, common sense might...
I now am missing my K-5. It was a rusty old turd, but I loved the way that truck drove.
wrong roof, wrong camaro, wrong price. Crack Pipe
May our hero, John Dunsworth, rest in peace
Wow, they really missed an opportunity by not calling in a Tyr-Ram-mosaurus Rex
NP for sure! They had me a 2-door tahoe without swiss cheese quarters. The diesel is just an added treat.
