That, and admit that as a non-Jew you don't really know all the theology behind it and the nuances and differences between all these Jewish communities. This isn't only between Orthodox v. Reform Jews; there are also significant differences between Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews.

I love, love, loooove travelling alone. I am very lucky to have a job that has allowed me to visit many countries and regions. Fortunately, I have never been robbed or harassed* in any of my trips. That being said, I have met a lot of women that have told me true horror stories about the very same places I have

Oh... I don’t think that’s the reason. All this criticism has been pretty abrasive and sometimes quite slut shame-y, true.* However, I think this might be in response to all the praise that she is getting, which is also very exaggerated if you ask me.

Well, I have done it. I am not rich by any means. I just happened to work as a freelance translator. I just needed my laptop and an internet connection and I could work anywhere in the world. Of course, it wasn't easy to be a tourist and work 6-8 hours a day, but is is doable. And I wouldn't change anything about it.

This illuminati thing is obviously bs and, I am sure, it is not to be taken seriously.

"also: america is not a 'very religious country.'"

Sorry to hear this happened to you. I was in Morocco last year and I know what you are talking about.

Yup. My bad! Complaint withdrawn.

+1

I am glad to see that so many people are willing to be exploited just for a chance to hang out with Lady Gaga. Screw labor rights!

If it is your day off, it is your day off. Period. Your employer should respect that. No "move my shit because I am tired and you are my bitch". Not only is it against her terms of employment, it is just basic human courtesy.

I had no idea I could laugh and vomit in my mouth a little bit at the same time. Good job!

I know... at this point, that article is pretty much useless #academicwritingnerd

Really? I see your point, it is dangerous to acknowledge this "involuntary reaction" argument, and yeah, OP is wrong. However, I think Tastycakes made a very good distinction. There is a line between noticing an attractive woman and reacting to this attraction.

I am a former figure skater. I started when I was 6. I worked my ass off and I became good at it - just planinly "good" at skating. However, no amount of hard work would make me rank with the Michelle Kwans of the world. You think that hard work is all there is to be great at something - that is, until you are faced

I'm a former figure skater... it is indeed extremely difficult, but the thing is, we usually start so young that many of these things seem almost natural. The other day, I was trying to teach my hubby how to skate and I was surprised at how hard it was for him to just glide and move forward. Just finding his balance

As a former figure skater, I hated seeing the whole skate. HATED IT. With passion. These tights are the best invention ever.

But I think that this new scoring system actually encourages fluidity and cleanliness over acrobatics. See, Plushenko v. Lysacek.

Watch Yuna Kim skate. She has to be one of the most talented skaters of all time, much better technically that Michelle Kwan. Granted, she is not American, but she is a delight to watch. So consistant, so good all the freakin' time.

Yawn. Zzzzzzz...
