Can someone explain to me how this makes any sort of sense:

^^This. However, the lower cap rises (and subsequent cap troubles) make for hella entertaining trade deadlines and free agency.

Assuming he completes a lap without putting it into the gravel or walls is already quite the compliment to Joe MIllionaire.

What the hell is that?

I was under the assumption the cut off was born before/after 1980. Before = Gen X’er. After = Millenial. Which pisses me off b/c I just missed the Gen X’er cutoff

‘that Subaru briefly used to support an ill-fated F1 program’

me too

I know they’re not the same at all, but when I saw that first photo my mind immediately snapped back to 2001 and Tom Green screaming about a Le Baron.

Slow clap sir. Bravo

My local bike shop guy convinced me to get a pair of padded overalls. He said ‘you’ll feel like a nerd, but trust me...’ I’m glad I did. I feel like a nerd, but damn are they comfy.

I’m a casual rider (~10 miles a week). Last year I invested in clips to get myself out more (I figured if I spent ~$100 for basic shoes and clips on sale, I’d ride more to get my money out of it). Anyway, my take: I LOVE my clips.

Not wrong, but not completely right. There are two parental versions: 1. The post-dinner leftovers and:

“If you want me to include some wild flurgenberry that’s native to one acre of South Carolina for two days a year and makes a lovely pie filling, take your ass elsewhere”

No, but I am a fucking cynical bastard who doesn’t trust anyone. And I’ve been around the industry long enough that I’ve seen some projects that just don’t make any fucking sense, other than a local contractor needed work, or were designed in certain ways because the local concrete plant needed to sell some material.

The salt this comment will generate will be delicious

Ya’ll realize the whole boring thing might just be a big elaborate joke by Musk. It’s the type of thing I’d imagine he’d enjoy doing just to for a laugh. But then again, it’s Musk, so who knows, maybe he is serious...

That and NIBYism. I swear to christ. The county I live in voted for Trump - hard. So earlier this year, a local manufacturing business wanted to expand (touting their good paying blue collar jobs). I thought it’d be a sweep.

Eh, I’ve always taken those grades with a big grain of salt. While I agree we’ve been short funding our infrastructure for decades (and it is a major fucking problem) I’m not just going to accept ‘grades’ from an industry group whose members’ livelihoods are reliant on state and federal infrastructure funding.
