But at the same time, don’t you think it must get pretty old for her when she repeatedly hears “hey, maya! You would be the perfect mixed race person to play a woman who is literally not even a little bit black! Cool, right?” Personally, I think the joke would be even better if they were to have someone like Kate

In fairness to Bernie Sanders, I think he’s not only firmly on record as disliking the Confederate flag but I think he also once kicked Jefferson Davis in the shins.

We all agree the flag should be removed, but it’s funny to see how the politicians are scrambling to act like they’ve always been petitioning for this cause.

They did

I was legitimately shocked to see this, but also very pleasantly surprised. I think the fact that Clementa Pickney was “one of them” (a state senator) really shook up even the most conservative members of the state government and made them see the light.

Also, GG say that women are too sensitive when they are doxxed and threatened with rape, but when they are mildly criticized by a TV show, it’s suddenly horrible? It’s pretty clear who are the wallowers in victimization.

So, let me get this straight...GG, according to itself, are not the ones who are harassing Wu and Sarkeesian. BUT when Oliver brings those women on to talk about their harassment and no one says Gamgergate, it’s still about Gamergate according to Gamergate.

I love it when a group’s reaction to a point you made serves to further prove your point.

Well at least we know that absolutely nobody will say anything remotely racist about her in retaliation for her stance.

What exactly could he do about it? I sense some “magical Negro” stereotyping in your whining.

A bit off topic, but I find it rather awesome and oddly perfect that Jon Oliver is married to an American woman who was a trauma nurse (surgeon?) in Iraq and that they met at the Republican National Convention. Oliver is a staunch liberal but he is incredibly respectful to men and women in uniform and he has a way of

I think, by that, he meant, “Don’t get involved with these people because they WILL exploit you,” not, “Don’t get involved with these people because you’re pathetic.”

I did not think he was shaming the people who had to sue, but was shaming the companies.

“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” -Hanlon’s Razor. ;)

I honestly don’t get this shit. I work as a social media and web specialist for a non profit and anything I post online has to be racially diverse. If I post anything with too many white or black people, or only white and black people, my boss calls me out. No one does this at NBC???

I’m shocked when this happens in a regular news story (not prompted by a racially motivated terrorist attack) but this? Don’t you have anyone in your office looking at shit going “eh, that’s gonna look bad, lets pump up the diversity on this one”. And it’s not just NBC, it’s all over the place, like idiots who fill

Klittra sounds like an 80s cartoon villainess.

The sun has long been a bad and hot circle. It’s confusing (why so hot? why so round? how?). It doesn’t make no sense (how?). It needs to be stopped (ice?). I commend this team of friends for filling plastic with their love and attempting to save their seated friends from the hot sting of the sky devil.
