My brain is wired to automatically upvote GBV, but a quality shuffle overall!

I made this shuffle before I heard the news otherwise I would have included some Bowie.
Also, welcome back! Sorry to steal your spot; I've been holding down the fort for months. How are things?

I have to refinagle my semester schedule at the last minute due to f'ing prerequisites that I didn't look into. I don't want to take Multivariable Calculus and Thermodynamics at the same time; I don't even care if it takes me another semester to graduate. I need a permission number from a prof to get everything

So the Sovereign did Station to Station?
And Changesone! Love that album!
Could you be any more of a poser? Changes is a best-of!

I just listened to Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust this week and I don't know what took me so long. These albums were brilliant, and though "Blackstar" (the track) is vastly different, that difference just makes me love Bowie more.
Pair that with watching the Venture Bros season 2 finale tonight, and I think I've reached

From the Kinks to the Beatles to Cheap Trick, it's nice to see the AV Club promoting little-known up-and-comers.

Huh, I love the dynamic between Fred Savage and what's-her-name. Never saw New Girl though. Natalie Morales needs more to do on it though.

Nice to see somebody else watching The Grinder! I found it adequate at least and super-charming at best. The meta aspect was mostly entertaining to me but I could see where it was insufferable.

Dammit ICP, why are you such a talented mofo? I haven't gotten an "A" in a non-gimme class in the past 3 years. Great job though!
And to speak in defense of group work, I would have failed Analytical Chem Lab without it.

Saw A Walk in the Woods with the fam at a second-run theater filled with senior citizens. Liked Robert Redford, but the so-called "movie" desperately needed a plot beyond episodic bouts of old white guys and their antics on the Appalachian trail. Got most laughs out of Kristen Schaal, who stole her one scene with

You call your kid "Blaster?"

Note: toting a blaster is acceptable if in full Stormtrooper costume, because then nobody is in danger of being shot anyway.

Don't you mean…you can't hardly wait?

My advice: seek out best-of-decade or any year-end lists from a variety of critical sources, find an album that intrigues you, listen to it (via your medium of choice), and if you like it, seek out similar artists!

Beautiful avatar/comment synergy.
