Looking back on the new albums I heard this year, I realized that all the artists that I didn't already like that I checked out were female rockers - Courtney Barnett, Sleater-Kinney, Bully, and Veruca Salt. All the best rock music is coming from women and I love it.

I find that I discovered more songs from before 2015 than those that came out this year, but the song from this year that got the most repeat listens from Pucky was "Dead Fox" by Courtney Barnett. Perfectly all-over-the-place lyrics, a charming hook, and just a general defense for guitar-pop as a viable genre.

Do you mean increasing or decreasing order of interest? I just listed the names I had heard of, all of which have brought me some degree of delight (though in approximately decreasing order, especially if we mean Game Grumps without JonTron).

Watching Joel during the livestream this year, I noticed he has the droopiest eyelids this side of Ben Carson. I know he was always the sleepier of the two hosts but it was soporific to watch him talk.

The list of guests to the telethon is pretty sweet: Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland, Pendleton Ward, and to get even nerdier, Freezepop and the Game Grumps. It shouldn't surprise me that MST3K has generated so many fans that went on to make great, nerd-ish humor, but I'm super grateful that it has.

I was too young to catch Full House as it aired, but the more I learn about its astounding inanity, I realize that Horsin' Around isn't as far-fetched a parody as it is a mirror of Full House.

Was super-lazy but at least stayed caught up on my grading. Got to hang out with my dad on Saturday. He's a nice guy but life has really put him through the wringer, and he gets mad at things really easily (being in constant back pain doesn't help). Still had a pleasant morning stroll. Decided to start doing Venture

How many clicked here to see if Scott Tobias had returned?

I didn't think he was gonna do "Moon River," but then BAM! Second encore!

The scene that sticks with me the most from this episode was the extended "Union Pacific" gag; when the cat lady appears from behind the train after it passes, I crack up every time.

Six words for what I would contribute: Classic Venture Bros. reviews this winter. Hopefully.

Whoa, what is this? I'm confused and overwhelmed! How am I going to get anything done with TWO discussion sites to follow?
I'm afraid to engage because it sounds less than beneficial to my pristine upvotes/comments ratio, but I want to be a part of something! Should I start another account?

Also listened to OK Computer a couple days prior. It's also pretty sweet, but not quite as drop-everything OMG WTF as Kid A. Better singles on OKC though.

Making good on a promise I made last weekend, I checked out Kid A tonight.
Oh man. What an album. What a lovely album.

Much like Tommy Wiseau's sitcom Neighbors, when something transcendentally terrible becomes self-aware, it's best to avoid anything that tries to capitalize upon it.

Having a conversation with AV Clubbers is one thing; touching them is beyond the pale.

I mean, at that rate I just have my hand and a steady internet connection, and that's so much cheaper.

Why would I want to date any of you old weirdos who spend all their time on the internet?
