When I was in HS and College, the trainer would put tape (this really expensive, super sticky, stretchy tape) on my quads and groin to help with pulled muscles. It seemed to work moderately, but I hated shaving every other day and using what was essentially paint thinner on my legs to get all the glue off me.

Pretty sure that’s how it works up here in Canada - before they give you a licence to own one, you have to take a safety class. And a refresher course when you renew every few (5?) years.

Potentially since most cabbies in Canada have lots of downtime. Can’t speak specifically about in Quebec, but in Edmonton, there is always a plethora of cabbies sitting around waiting for dispatch or a fare to walk up to them.
